Since establishing herself as an artist, Chantal Meza has been actively involved in providing art workshops and donating commissioned works to charitable and community based organisations. She has been fully committed to teaching younger children about the benefits of expression through abstract act, whilst also developing and teaching a number of beginner courses on the history of art and Mexican culture.
Having collaborated with a number of schools and community projects in her town of Tecali de Herrera to produce large scale murals, recently she was also commissioned to produce a new work of art for the UK based Life With Autism project (featured opposite). Commenting on the work, the founder and director of the project Rebecca Bethell stated: "we are extremely thankful for the time and sensitivity Chantal showed in undertaking this commission. The work captures beautifully how we see our children, full of imagination and carried on the wind with colour and tender hope".
